ColinDid you try typing "win" when it asked for the interpreter command, making sure you were at the C prompt?Julia :blink:

Well . .not too bad after all . . The PCLos 2426: More people have problems with that one . . . are waiting for updates to be able to boot the 2.4.26 kernel . . ( Ryan and Rpiz have posted problems with that kernel too )Windows: well that is a problem . . . . . Start posting in the Windows forum to solve that problem . . . . BUT FIRST MAKE A MANDRAKE BOOT-CD . . will type the command below !Mandrake: Perfect !PCLos : Perfect !!Mepis 2.4: Perfect !!Mepis-2.6 Perfect !!Now for the rescue CD for Mandrake: Boot into Mandrake and:

mkrescue --iso --initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.3-7mdk.img --kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.3-7mdk

And burn the rescue.iso to CD and test it !!:huh: BrunoPS: You were not supposed to test the "failsafe" and "nonfb". . :blink:

mkrescue --iso --initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.3-7mdk.img --kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.3-7mdk

Stop K3b when it comes up close it and do the burning like this:

cdrecord dev=/dev/hdc rescue.iso
