It has to . . if not delete the partition and create it new . . . . . ( with deleting we risk re-numbering of the partitions but we will see that as it comes and deal with it . . you do not have to reinstall PCLos and Mephis . . but we will need to make changes if that happens )B) Bruno

You are using Mandrake to do your partition changes aren't you and not PC Los????Julia B)

Colin . . . Delete hda5 as well . . . and make one big partition of the empty space ( the two empty spaces --> one big 11.5 G Ext3 ) . . Do use the mandrake installere in "Expert mode" for it !! . . No more PCLos . . just the mandrake installer . . B) Bruno

Posted

We want you to do this in Mandrake . . in the installer . . . ( resizing did not work, but deleting and recreating will work ! )B) BrunoPS: There was a bug in the PCLos partition tool . . just remembered that . .

PC Los is probably part of your problem. I NEVER touch a partition in it because it is just too buggy! Go to Mandrake. Use the Mandrake Control Center!!!!Julia B)
