Nope Dale . . the Firefox bookmarks is much simpler:Open Firefox . . go to the bookmarks-editor and do File --> Export . . . then export them to your /home/dale ( is the default ) . . then send an email to yourself and attach the bookmarks.html file . . . . then boot in SUSE and pick up the mail you did send from Mandrake . . . . and open Firefox-bookmark-editor and do File --> Import :DB) Bruno

Hi DaleAlso this is real simple: You received your mail with attach in SUSE ?? Well, in that case save the attach to your /home/dale . . then open Firefox-bookmark-editor and "import" the bookmarks.html file from your /home :DB) Bruno

Time for a new lesson ... d/l the java link you posted to me on page 2 of this thread .. got it all d/l and ""attempted"" to install it from the instructions you gave me ... and that is where I hit the wall at ... tried the chmod cmd ,,, it tells me to few arguements ... Right . . in SUSE you have to install "find-utils" in yast to be able to use "updatedb" and "locate" . . . . So install that first and you can do updatedb after that. :DB) Bruno

how do I make the find utilis install in Yast .. is there a specific place I should be or do it in .. opened Yast but had no idea where to go after that

There is a software section in Yast dale . . . but never mind we found it already:/usr/lib/SunJava2-1.4.2/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.soAND/home/dale/j2re1.4.2_06/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.soBUT: Now you have two java's installed . . . it was already installed before you started to download it today . . . . . so after we are done we will remove the last one again.Now, here are the commands:

# ln -s  /usr/lib/SunJava2-1.4.2/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so   /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
