abarbarian Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Can you spot what's wrong with this desktop? That IE icon is just so wrong but Outlook Express, CMD, and WIndows Explorer icons, too. I am not that familiar with Windows :'( are they games Quote
V.T. Eric Layton Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 You could classify them as games, I suppose. You never win playing with them, though. Quote

saturnian Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Cinnamon desktop added to Debian Jessie GNOME. I set up the panel at the top instead of at the bottom. I'm fine with GNOME Shell, but Cinnamon's a nice alternative. 2 Quote

securitybreach Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 I'd be interested to see what your setup would look like after you hit that lottery. Yeah right..... I would start with one of these and then add about 100 terabytes worth of SSDs: Dual 18 Core Intel Xeon E5-2699 v3 Workstation (36 Cores) 4 x NVIDIA GTX Titan X 12GB Graphics Card 256GB DDR4 2133 ECC RAM / Thunderbolt 2.0 (Thunderbolt + Mini DisplayPort) 1TB Samsung 850 Pro SSD (OS) / 2.0TB Intel P3700 PCie SSD (Media) http://www.amazon.com/i-XL-Mediaworkstation-NVIDIA-GTX-Titan/dp/B00VHL6RI0/ Quote

V.T. Eric Layton Posted July 1, 2015 Author Posted July 1, 2015 Umm... not that I give a shirt anymore these days since stowing away my jackboots, but didn't we have a thread around here for posting "real" desktop pics? A mod should find it and spli off these recent real desktop pics to that other thread. This thread is for screenies of your operating system desktop. AHA! Found it... http://forums.scotsnewsletter.com/index.php?showtopic=30828&hl=%20real%20%20desktop&st=0 It should be pinned, too. Quote

securitybreach Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 So I got my new Zelda sticker for my netbook. The sticker is one of those type that you place on your target and peel the paper back to adhere it. The sticker was very cheap, $2.39 and only took about 2 days to arrive. http://www.amazon.co...duct/B00753S8CC 2 Quote
