sunrat Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I'm not 100% I got it http://www.desktopnexus.com/ but it's more than likely I did. You should find it under Abstract. There's a lot of really awesome images in there. Enjoy! Great site. Could take a while to view all 25,192 wallpapers though. Quote
V.T. Eric Layton Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 Wow, thanks for another wallpaper site. I'm limited on my eeepc. I rarely go into Advanced to see the paper and then I'm limited to 800 x 480. But in PCLinux using a 19" wide lcd, I have papers I cycle through but I'm on the lookout for lots more.Liz, the cool thing about that site is that it autodetects your screen res and offers the downloads in your size automatically. That's the first wallpaper site I've been to that does that. UberCOOL! Quote

vonbiber Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Eric,How do you upload a picture?I don't see an upload button anywhere. Quote
sunrat Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Eric,How do you upload a picture?I don't see an upload button anywhere. You need to upload the image to an external host and post a thumbnail url as "Insert Image". Then link the thumbnail to the fullsize one. Eric and I both use www.dropfiles.net , but there are a number of hosting sites like imageshack or photobucket. Here's the code from my last deskshot: And the result:For this one i made my own thumbnail and uploaded it, but the hosting sites can make one automatically if you like.I like dropfiles as you can post and share many file types, not just images, and you can hotlink.
