Think like a computer nerd.

Impossible for a barbarian. I guessed it was your test results. Though how you managed a lowly 20% is beyond me. :thudna5:

No. Actually, it's an ascii message written here in hexadecimal. Geeky, huh?

Oddly enough, though... if I don't heed the advice of this message, I could very well score a 20% on that next exam. :(

I was gonna say it wasn't hex, but then I saw an F.

It says, "I really should be studying."

And after scoring a 400 (passing is 804) on a sample exam I just took a few minutes ago, I'd have to agree. :(

Most of the series are really good.

I am using the RHCSA/RHCE version from that series.

To bad I can't just absorb them by holding them to my forehead for 5 minutes.

Sleep with them under your pillow. Voila! Learning by osmosis?

After you've prepared to the point of exhaustion, head exploding, etc.

A bit of rest and relaxation is good for test prep.

So, study, study, study, for weeks if necessary.

Then take a break and don't even think about it for two or three days.

Then walk into your exam relaxed and confident that you've done all you can.

Ace it!

Thanks for all the cheering, folks. It's a waste of your typing efforts, I'm afraid.

OK, tomorrow's the big day... the day when I have to reschedule my ICND2 exam again. The big dilemma is for how long should I postpone it? 30 days again? 60? 90? Forever? :bangin:

OK, I rescheduled for Tuesday 30 July. That will give me about eight weeks or so to get back on track. :)

Yaeh we are all on tenderhooks here.

“The time has come

The walrus said

To talk of many things:

Of shoes- and ships-

And sealing wax-

Of cabbages and kings-

And why the sae is boiling hot-

And whether pigs have wings.”

UPDATE: The dream is over. Reality had blanked it completely. There are no jobs in this field in my area. No one is hiring full time. No one is hiring anyone over 45 years old.

Ebbity-ebbity-ebbity... That's all, folks!
