raymac46
I like EndeavourOS quite a lot and if Morse were around today maybe he would like it too. It is very close to Arch Linux with a pretty Xfce desktop as the default. It gets most of its software directly from the Arch repos. The EndeavourOS repo is mostly themes and a few handy tools. Not very large at all. Personally I would start out with Arch to get a feel for the installation, but if you want a quick Arch-like look and feel then EndeavourOS might be a good choice. 2
raymac46
One new development: EndeavourOS has switched to KDE Plasma as its default DE. You can still get Xfce but you have to do it via the online install process, then put in the pretty Theming afterward. I got EndeavourOS earlier on so I can just continue to upgrade as long as I use it.
