I came here to unsubscribe from this thread, but while I'm here, I might as well post with what mine looks like.  I'm using Plasma since Gnome went off the deep end.  I'm sticking with Gentoo and openrc.  I refuse to use systemd for as long as possible.  I have two monitors.  Guess which one is smaller.Screenshot_20200202_140828.thumb.png.188d376bcc1c368d59deb4e1e5eebeaa.png

Greg!!!

It's darn good to "see" you. I'm very glad to see you're still alive and kickin' and still stickin' with Gentoo (- the systemD stuff). Outstanding!

Here's hoping you'll pop in a bit more often. :)

Cheers,

~Eric

Too busy. I'd get seizures seeing all that carp on my monitor. ;)

Same here, I am more comfortable just seeing a bunch of terminals.

I think that the detailing for the title bars is splendid. Arch + Window Maker - theme - Ladybird. 😍

Very nice 👍

Here is my VBox install of MX-19 with the Fluxbox desktop. All I've done here is change the background. The desktop icons can be hidden if you want, or you can add more easily enough.

Nice wall papers but I don't like Fluxbox, but to each is own.

Where are the fluxbox posts? I do not see any on the last two pages. Do you mean WindowMaker?

Those are not fluxbox, those are window maker. Fluxbox is a bit more plain than Window Maker out of the box.

I've updated my Windows 10 VirtualBox installation. Got rid of Mageia (it failed to update properly) and MX-Linux (I have it on the rails on a couple of machines.) Now I'm experimenting with Debian LXQt.

Here's how it looks:

@wa4chq good move there mate it is time we had some cheerfulness. Here is my Live MX-19 with persistence that I am using whilst I rebuild my new Arch after I fiddled it to death.

I'm not alone!  Abarbarian, I've lost count on how many times I've had to rebuild...lol

Rebuild? What is that?

I keep all my configs on github and backed up locally. I can easily recreate the installation in like 10 minutes. Download the packages and drop in the configs, done.. B)
