V.T. Eric Layton Posted February 1, 2020 Author Posted February 1, 2020 Very nice. Is that Conky running on the right hand side? I had fun with Conky at one time. However, as you can see from my posts in this thread, I'm definitely a minimalist. I like the desktop to remain empty of superfluous ca-ca like icons, drives, etc. But that's just me. Quote

Yes, that's a Conky. I just wish it could show all my CPU cores and not just half of them. Quote
V.T. Eric Layton Posted February 2, 2020 Author Posted February 2, 2020 Well, it's been a while since I used Conky, so can't help there. However, if you post a Conky issue thread here, I'm sure there are others here who would help. Quote

trigggl Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) I came here to unsubscribe from this thread, but while I'm here, I might as well post with what mine looks like. I'm using Plasma since Gnome went off the deep end. I'm sticking with Gentoo and openrc. I refuse to use systemd for as long as possible. I have two monitors. Guess which one is smaller. V.T. Eric Layton Posted February 2, 2020 Author Posted February 2, 2020 Greg!!! It's darn good to "see" you. I'm very glad to see you're still alive and kickin' and still stickin' with Gentoo (- the systemD stuff). Outstanding! Here's hoping you'll pop in a bit more often. Cheers, ~Eric 1 Quote
V.T. Eric Layton Posted May 8, 2020 Author Posted May 8, 2020 Too busy. I'd get seizures seeing all that carp on my monitor. Quote
