Bruno
Hi DaleWhat is wrong with the FireFox used by default in Debian ?? . . . . You should use that one and only upgrade if it is in the regular Debian updates. In Debian you use .deb packages from the Debian mirrors, those are safe and will not bring compatibility problemsB) Bruno
longgone
When I first used FF it told me that I needed to do something (can't remember now) but every time I go to use it now I have to create a user which I never had to do upuntil 2 days ago .... Bruno
Just backup the bookmarks . . and then delete the /home/dale/.mozilla/firefox directory . . . then restart FF to let it rebuild the /home/dale/.mozilla/firefox directory and restore the bookmarks to the new folder. That will fix it. ross549
Check your process manager... I bet you have a bunch of instances of firefox-bin running, and none are exiting properly.Adam

ross549
nah, just click the top of the leftmost column (should be named process) to sort it alphabetically, and scroll to see the firefox entries. If there are a bunch there, just kill 'em. ;)Adam
