He just wants his Fiskars back, BTW. Those are some good but expensive splitting axes. That round is nasty- all the knots you can see sticking out are going to impede splitting. Fire up the hydraulic splitter for this one... I only own a little electric splitter. My plan of attack- chainsaw notches around the periphery, set wedges, and whale away with a 10lb sledge.
