I understand how Demand Assigned Multiple Access (DAMA) (US Navy's implementation of the MIL-STD 188-183 protocol) works, but that doesn't make it simple!

Received and decrypted. However, I created that key with the wrong email address. It's still good and you can use it, but I'd prefer that my ISP addy didn't become too public, if you know what I mean.

 

The key in the first post in this thread and the one a couple posts back from here are now the correct ones for general public use.

i'm learning everyday about this, the thing is there is DSA and RSA algorithms, if the NSA gave those 10m for a backdoor on the random generation algorithm, that means that making a key with gnupg for example, will give me a key that could be in theory decrypted by the NSA 'with it's backdoor"?

 

also i wanted to let you know, i've modified the gnpug to generate a 16384 bits key, gonna test and report back soon.

Well the NSA thing was tied to RSA, not DSA if I am correct. I use a 4096 DSA encryption for my key but I plan on reading into it more to see if there is something better.

well after trying to compile gnupg with 16384 bites for DSA, seems like i need to patch gnupg first

 

gpg: keysize invalid; using 16384 bits

the buggy algorithm was a default option but not the only option and if i understand correctly has not been used for 2 years.

yup, imported, im gonna make a 16xxx bytes key later and test if claw-mail can handle it or which applications actually handle that big keys. :P

Did anyone reset their keys since the heartbleed bug?

 

GPG/PGP keys were not related to the Heartbleed bug in any way. Your encrypted emails are safe. :)
