réjean
Hi everyone!Great news!!! I finally received my CDs ( Drake 10.1, SuSe 9.1 Pro, Knoppix 3.7 and the Updates for Drake 10.1). I went ahead and installed Drake ( Great improvement over 9.1 if I may say so as far as the install is concerned). I think that my video card has been figured out just out of the bat (which is quite a relief compared to the old way. Mind you I am starting to know my machine a bit better) and the same for the internet and the network. I have done however a slight booboo which I think can be repaired. I chose Lilo as the bootloader but opted to install it at the beginning of the root partition, which I vaguely remembered reading was a better choice. Anyway upon rebooting I found myself into Xandros Lilo, which is ok because I can go back to the session I had with Bruno a few weeks back and modify my lilo.conf on Xandros so that it can see Drake which it doesn't yet and enable me to boot into Ubuntu which it names but won't allow me to boot into.I should tell you that there is no way I will install SuSe until I have created at least a Mandrake CD boot disk. So if anyone feel like holding me by the hand or else slap me behind the head and tell me to snap out of it SuSe gonna have to wait. BTW can I use Bruno's tutorial to create a Xandro's 2.0 boot disk?Love you all!Rejean Edited January 5, 2005 by réjean
Bruno
Hi RéjeanSo basically you want to add Drake to the xandros Lilo ?? Good . . let's go for it !
