a lot of LXDE users install xfce panels to replace lxpanels, simply to have access to the Whisker Menu.  I'm still a native OpenBox/Fluxbox/PekWM right click desktop menu guy, but looking into jgmenu.  If I can figure out how to implement the Fluxbox & PekWM "settings" within jgmenu, I'll make the switch.  Until then, it's a 4th option for me.

I do not use email to communicate with people. I use it for mailing lists, notifications and sending myself stuff to read later.

Fires still burning in a number of places but much less than a couple of weeks ago. In a cruel twist, Canberra was hit by intense hail storms with stones of tennis ball size. Melbourne had some too but slightly less severe. Picture of hailstones in front of Australia's Parliament house in Canberra:   Check out the video in this news article, it shows a car park where every car window was smashed: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-01-22/what-made-the-hail-and-storms-so-bad/11886016

I've only ever had one gmail account and I use it mostly for newsletters and such. I rarely ever communicate with anyone using it. I mostly send using my Yahoo or Hotmail accounts. Sadly, I can't get anyone to use encrypted emails with me... the lazy bastages. Also sad, but I haven't logged into my Proton account in ages. If they offered POP/IMAP with their service I would use it primarily for communications, but I think that is still only available to paying users.
