OK, here is what I found-

Authentication method: Normal password
Connection Security: STARTTLS
This of course is in my copy of Thunderbird which is not
presently working for Sent emails only. Receiving emails
I think I do see how I would edit this entry to change the
port, but only after I know what I'm doing.
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
which I believe was the old server address. I'm pretty sure
if one addresses this server name it automatically redirects
to the smtp.office365.com address. I do know for sure the
old webmail url does indeed redirect to the MA address.
I've never used a graphical copy application but this is supposed to be a similar version to Teracopy but opensource. http://ultracopier.first-world.info/
