securitybreach
So i have been using K9Mail for years on android because I do not use gmail and the email accounts I have do not have apps. Anyway, a couple of months ago I seen that Thunderbird came out on Android in beta and I tested it for a few months without any issues. I never knew that Mozilla developed K9 until i seen an article talking about how they used the K9 base to develop thunderbird. Anyway, now it is stable on Android and works beautifully. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.thunderbird.android If your email provides pgp encryption, it also works as long as you have the OpenKeyChain installed
