Tonight our friends across the pond turn back their clocks one hour as Daylight Savings Time ends.  In the U.S., it ends next week, 03 November 2024.

Nah, Australia leads the way. We started daylight saving 3 weeks ago. Most of our states at least, a couple of states don't implement it, mainly the more redneck ones. 😏

I wish we would just move to a "half-time" compromise.  In March, instead of turning the clocks ahead one hour, turn them ahead 1/2 hour and don't change again.

That would help when driving home from work (westerly direction) after 5PM this time of year. It looks like you're driving into the very corona of the sun.

In Australia, rednecks are called bogans. There are many levels of boganness.

I define myself as 50% bogan, 50% nerd, 50% hippy, and 0% mathematician. 😁😏
