uBlock origin and Brave and Windows - update blues?

seems to be too much of a coincidence that after the W10 update and the Brave update today, that uBlock origin  prevents Brave from showing any web pages.

 

Brave Version 1.65.133 Chromium: 124.0.6367.208 (Official Build)

W10 22H2 build 19045.4412

uBlock Origin 1.57

 

(uBliock Orign Lite does work)
