raymac46
EMD GP9s were built by General Motors in the 1950s and were one of the longest serving and most successful diesel locomotive designs. Most have been retired by now but a few are still running on heritage and short line railroads. These two Milwaukee Road Geeps are pulling a 1950s style freight on a mythical branch line. I like simulations of the glory days of US railroading. The Milwaukee Road has long since vanished. Much of its abandoned western rail lines is now hiking trails in Montana and Idaho. What's left is part of Canadian Pacific's US operations. Edited March 18, 2022 by raymac46
