I installed this kernel using MX Linux installer as an attempt to solve my Microphone problem. Didn't help but the kernel looks like it works OK. What is the advantage of using Liquorix over the vanilla Debian kernel that ships with MX Linux?

I use Liquorix for audio production as it gives better performance for that. Probably wouldn't be noticeable for everyday use. For example the Bullseye install I did last week caused about 70% DSP usage for a small Mixbus session with the default kernel and around 30% with Liquorix.

The main difference afaik are kernel config parameters  CONFIG_PREEMPT=y , CONFIG_NO_HZ=y , and CONFIG_HZ=1000 although there are others.
