Corrine Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Mozilla sent Firefox Version 81.0 to the release channel today. The update includes ten security updates of which four (4) are rated moderate high and three (3) are rated moderate. At the time of this posting, there is no update for Firefox ESR Version 68.12 and based on the Rapid Release Calendar, it appears it may have reached EOL and the current ESR Version is 78.3, available from here. Update: To get the update now, select "Help" from the Firefox menu, then pick "About Firefox." Mac users need to select "About Firefox" from the Firefox menu. If you do not use the English language version, Fully Localized Versions are available for download. Security Updates Release Notes Quote
zlim Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Thanks, Corrine. I know this is about the time of year when I have to install a new version of ESR. I suspect it will be a radical change. The latest FF for android is a mess, I gave it a 1 star rating at googleplay and I've switched to Vivaldi because they've removed tabs! Quote
Corrine Posted September 22, 2020 Author Posted September 22, 2020 When I checked for ESR updates earlier, nothing was available. However, when checking again, it was offered the update to version 78.3. Quote
zlim Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Yes, I updated all four computers for ESR through the older version. I don't think this was possible in the past. 1 Quote
