8gb of disk space with no files

I have a 128gb SSD with 4 partitions.  The normal three Windows uses and one more I use for data.  With a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, the data partition shows 8gb of space used but there are no files on the partition.  If I try to format the partition, Win 10 says it is in use.  I heard that Win 10 now requires 8gb of space for updating.  Is that what is using up the 8gb on my data partition?

I am using MBR partitioning as well. This is for a 480 GB drive with  most of my documents and photo data on a 1 TB HDD. I have some large game files on the SSD.
