V.T. Eric Layton Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Ever wonder why diseases such as Coronavirus, SARS, etc. spread so rapidly in China? Well, watch this video for some enlightenment with regards to that country. Oh, and... Do NOT watch it while eating... or shortly after eating... or if you're just naturally queasy. It is disgusting. You've been warned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbHxeOQA1Mc . Quote
sunrat Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 I have travelled a lot in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Most scenes in this video could be from there too. The lack of knowledge about hygiene is the most pressing problem and the government is aware of it and has education campaigns. It takes a lot to revert practices of hundreds or even thousands of years. He obviously picked the worst examples to show and I have seen similar, but most places are not as bad. One thing that did annoy me about that video is his lengthy rant about dog meat. It's a common and nutritious source of protein. Why not be equally distressed about other everyday meats? Have you ever looked into the eyes of a cow or pig? They have souls too. Sheep and chickens I'm not so sure. Kangaroos are delicious but in pest numbers in parts of Australia but tourists get shocked about eating them. The thing that really upsets me is the poaching of rare and endangered animals such as in the first scene. There are quite a few animals which have been hunted to extinction or close to it, many of them illegally. That must stop. Quote
securitybreach Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 BTW if you are like me and do not sign into google products but want to see this video, do the following: Quote If you remove the watch?v= and replace with embed/, you’ll get a link that goes directly to the video without the rest of the YouTube site, and it’ll play full-width in your browser. So, for example, you would take this link: youtube.com/watch?v=6LZM3_wp2ps and change it to this: youtube.com/embed/6LZM3_wp2ps And you won’t have to log in. Alternatively, you can add nsfw before the youtube.com portion of the link: nsfwyoutube.com/watch?v=6LZM3_wp2ps https://lifehacker.com/watch-age-restricted-youtube-videos-without-signing-in-1529667193 Quote
