I'd be surprised if inxi in particular was dropped due to lack of popularity, so maybe "other reasons." It would be nice if details were provided right there at those packages' AUR pages, but I guess it's no big deal.

Why not pose the same question at the Arch forums or on Josh's G+ site. :whistling:

 

From the inxi site,

 

Arch Linux: inxi is in either in the Community Repos or in AUR (it varies year to year), so just install inxi as you normally would any other package. It's usually reasonably current.

Well, the answer to the question I asked at the beginning of the thread seems to be, "Maybe, but you'll have to do a little digging." Similar to what the OP asked here: https://bbs.archlinu...c.php?id=237943

h2 has been very active with inxi development recently, converting it to Perl from bash/awk and adding some new features.
