Recommended Posts

I've just installed pclos 2017.11 KDE 64 bit and cannot get pclos to talk to my new USB wifi a Netgear Ac1200.

I pound the following steps on

To build the driver, follow these steps at https://github.com/jurobystricky/Netgear-A6210

But have failed at the first hurdle.

$ git clone https://github.com/jurobystricky/Netgear-A6210

$ cd Netgear-A6210

$ make

$ sudo make install

Any advice please?

Plus, I do not think that is the same device. Those instructions are for the Netgear A6210 and your device is a Netgear AC1200.

What failed?

Please post exact error messages when you tried this.

Also post the output of lsusb so we can be sure exactly which chip is in the device. It's best to know the exact USB ID as manufacturers are known to change which chip they use.
