Frank Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 I know there is no such thing as a dumb question. But, I've got one that might come close. How do you use the Quotes in the forum. I see when some members respond to something in the forum, they will select a line or two from that which they are responding to and include it with there response. How do you do that??Frank Quote
zox Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 When you click "Add Reply" button, right above your text box there is couple of buttons. One of them is labeled as "QUOTE".When you want to add quote just click on that button, that will open your quote and after you are done with quote, click on it again to close it.Or there is another way if you put
bla bla text to quote
Quote
Frank Posted March 23, 2003 Author Posted March 23, 2003 When you want to add quote just click on that buttonOK--I understand it now. Thanks. Quote
Big Jeff Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 How do you use the Quotes in the forum ... How do you do that??FrankOr, if you feel you need to quote the entire post, you can click the"Quote" button in the upper right corner of the post you want to quote. Like I just did. You can then edit the quote in an edit box that appears below the reply box. Quote
Big Jeff Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 Another thing about using the "Quote" button on someone's post is that you can see how they formatted certain portions of their post. Quote
