JerryM Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I keep getting a full page that states there is a critical update for Firefox. The address is https://iegohnewfrog.net/6601269664275/0e20a288fae8d75f14dd239b52697477/71be9bd942f5d8db645f3b70cd7eb2d4.html However I have the latest Firefox. What gives? Thanks, Jerry Quote
securitybreach Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I would not as that is not a legit address. If it is not coming from mozilla, then do not clink the link. Quote

zlim Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 If it were my computer, I'd run some scans with security programs. You should not be seeing a page pointing to a bogus site. 4 Quote

Corrine Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 It wouldn't hurt to run AdWare Cleaner & JRT. General instructions: Please download Adware Cleaner and save it to your Desktop. Right-click on AdwCleaner.exe and select Run As Administrator The tool will start to update the database, please wait a bit. Click on the Scan button. AdwCleaner will begin. Please be patient as the scan may take some time to complete. After the scan has finished, click on the Clean button. Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts. Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process. Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop. Disable your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts. Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select "Run as Administrator". The tool will open and start scanning your system. Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications. 4 Quote
