We are having another contest to give away some Eset licenses (thanks to goretsky) and I figured we would make it a little bit harder with some trivia questions. Corrine thought it would be a good idea to use some Star Trek trivia question as a lot of use are/were fans of the series.

Anyway, the first one to answer them correctly, will win their choice of

ESET NOD32 Antivirus - 1 PC, 1 year

ESET Internet Security - 1 PC, 1 year

ESET Smart Security Premium - 1 PC, 1 year

To win a ESET license key for your device, answer the following Star Trek trivia questions

Trekies Trivia:

Questions:

1) In Gene Roddenberry's original treatment for Star Trek, what was the name of the Starship?

2) What is Sulu's primary position on the U.S.S. Enterprise?

3) Which Star Trek captain has an artificial heart?

4) Which alien race did Ronald Reagan say reminded him of Congress?

5) Which species was the first to discover warp drive?

Contest Rules: SNF Admins and Mods are not eligible to play. Unless otherwise stated, members are only eligible to win one prize.

My favorite was Deep Space Nine, but I only knew the answers to questions 2 and 5, so I was pretty much out of the running.

I had a little trouble getting McAfee to relinquish control (the Win10 "uninstall" function isn't good enough).

Computer gets a little slow when 2 AVs fight each other.

Then I read Aryeh Goretsky's article on the subject.

Spent a couple of hours yesterday putting things back the way they were.

Spent a few minutes today, doing it properly.

McAfee is all gone..... ESET seems to be working fine now....

Off topic: I like the way that Windows Defender turned itself on during the short period when neither was installed, and turned itself back off when the ESET installation was complete.

Seems to me the difficulty in removing the other product says something. ;) I have no doubt you're going to enjoy having ESET.

Nothing sinister, the article I read suggests that any AV may need the vendors removal tool. There was even a link to the McAfee tool, as well as the ESET tool. Edited by Pete!
