sabre Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 I downloaded FF 1.0 It does not load - after I click the icon I keep seeing it attempting to load as it appears in the dock as a program that's loaded/being loaded and a few secs later dispappears. Arena2045 Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 One of the requirements for running FireFox is: that the application must be in the "Applications" folder.Just drag the app to the Applications folder, double click, and it should work. Arena2045 Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 You're welcome...Just for future reference, if you see that happen, it appears to launch but doesn't show up, or appears in the dock then disappears, the application just needs to be in the Applications folder. However, sometimes incomplete apps will do that as well, even if they are in the Applications folder. If that happens, try to reinstall it (if from media) or re-download it.
