patio
it's a minor annoyance for me but is there a way to turn off the " No Subject " reminder that pops up if you don't include a subject in your outgoing e-mail??Thanx in advance, patio. GolfProRM
I'm guessing there's something in the config, but I don't have Tbird at work, so can't look until I get home
Ed_P
Are you trying to emulate an AOL user patio?
epp_b
Are you trying to emulate an AOL user patio? Ssssssssssss! BURN! I don't use Tbird, but I think there's probably an option somewhere in the settings for this.
patio
Are you trying to emulate an AOL user patio? not at all.Daily e-mails and responses to a small group (8 people ) i work with.Just trying to speed things up and eliminate a step.I've checked all the options and settings, nothing there.I've also perused the user.js file but i don't see any switch for it. patio. GolfProRM
I checked through everything as well, and couldn't find anything related to subjects... It's been requested a few times that it be added to TB, but it hasn't... You might go to http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php and go to the extensions forum and request that an extension be made to do this (unless you want to code it yourself)

Ed_P
You could just use short subjects. I've frequently used just "?", "!" or "$" as my subjects.
nlinecomputers
FYI spamassassin tends to add more weight to email that has no subject line. You are much more likely to be marked as a false positive if you don't put something in the subject header.
GolfProRM
Patio... I'm not sure if you ever resolved this, but someone did release an extension! http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/morei...?id=305&vid=
