nlinecomputers Posted April 20, 2004 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Well it didn't stay unnoticed. After I posted is when the site went down for the count for about an hour. No damage. I spoke too soon. But again other then non available for a bit no harm done, as crashes go this is how it should happen. Batteries and emergency generators kick in and data is kept safe. Yea! In a way, it was a good thing -- it gave me no excuse to avoid going running (it was so nice today I couldn't resist! And the boston marathon was today, so that gave me some inspiration. Server problems are a pain and you did an excellent job to inform and get things rolling again ! . . by pure coinsidence there were a few other sites offline here in Europe too, even the mailserver of my ISP was down . . . . . . when lightning strikes . .
