Guest LilBambi
Guess this means they won't extend XP's life again
raymac46
It *is* funny, but you know there are a lot of folks out there who are running XP and blissfully unaware that it's coming up to EOL in a few months. Most of them are running old hardware that won't support Windows 7 or 8. It's either Linux or landfill for these folks unless they want to continue on without support. :'( I met another one yesterday. Webb
It isn't Microsoft support that will kill XP - -it's the other software developers. I'll use XP as long as Avast supports it. I don't have any need for any new device drivers. I used Windows 98 for a few years after official support ended. I moved to XP when 98 stopped supporting my hardware. zlim
If past history is any indication, MBAM provided support for Win 2K 2 years beyond when MS dropped support for it. The last patch was July 13, 2010 and the last MBAM version that worked on 2K was issued July 12 2012 (1.62.0.1300). Mozilla came out with FF v13 on June 5, 2012 that would only work on XP and above so 2K was no longer supported.
