rolanaj
Previous Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird Forum reloaded. Full description coming soon. This will be a where all Windows browser and email program related topics will be discussed. Stay Tuned for more details. This sort of implies this forum is only related to windows browsers and email, what about linux and mac browsers? I use linux and windows and the same browser in both so I hope I can ask questions here regardless of the OS I am using.
teacher
The basic idea is to keep the linux specific answers in the Linux forum and the same for Mac. The reason is that these are so specific in the answers to those distros that it is better to keep those in the linux or Mac forums. I can't even guess at what all is available on a Mac since I have not used one in a couple of years. However, I can easily think of a dozen browsers and email programs that are specific only to Linux. There are very few that cross over between the distros. So the short answer is yes this is a Windows only forum but not just for browsers but email programs. Thus it is a little broader than the old Mozilla subforum, but it is not so broad as to try to cover all three basic operating system/computer types.Julia
GolfProRM
If you're running a Multi-platform browser (Moz/Firefox/Opera), you're welcome to post in here. Generally, these are pretty much the same on every OS. If your question is based on something like Konqueror or Galeon, you might be better off in the ATL forum. If you're confused, just post here, and if we can't get a good answer, we'll try moving it to a different forum. Don't worry about it too much. Grasshopper
Good idea. I was becoming "weary" of that extra click to get to the Firefox/Thunderbird forum in Apps.
