shoe Posted March 8, 2004 Share Posted March 8, 2004 XP home, OE6, FW4.02. When I download email to OE from my server there is a 40 second delay. If I change the FW to allow all there is no delay. When I download email from hotmail there is no delay.Checked the firewall log. The only block was for an incoming IP to the Efficient Adapter.Added ports to the rules - didn't change a thingChanged Netbios to allow me to reach others shares - didn't change a thingTook OE out of the internet programs and put it back in - no change.It only happens when I receive email. not when i send. and only on send/receive button Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
