Is anyone having issues with Arch updating the past couple days. Neither my Pacman nor Yaourt finds any updates since Friday, I think. However, according to Josh's regular updates thread, there are some updates available. I checked the servers manually (by visiting them via browser) and they don't show the new updates; bash, for example, should be 4.2.039-1, yet on the server it's still 4.2.037-1. Arch usually isn't this slow to sync those mirrors. What's up?

Do you have a mirrorlist.pacnew file? And if so, have you ran rankmirrors against the new file?

Here is my mirrorlist if it helps:

Server = http://cosmos.cites.illinois.edu/pub/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
Server = http://mirror.us.leaseweb.net/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch

Also, remember your first mirror in the list is the first one that gets tried. So try commenting it out.

You could also try refreshing them with:

# pacman -Syy

Then try to update again. I have had this happen before and that fixed it.

Yup. I followed all the usual steps you mention.

It's OK now. It updated just a few minutes ago.

Server = http://cake.lib.fit.edu/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
Server = http://mirror.jmu.edu/pub/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
Server = http://mirror.us.leaseweb.net/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
Server = http://mirror.umd.edu/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch
Server = http://archlinux.tserver.net/$repo/os/$arch

The updates were just NOT on the server this morning. They're obviously there now, though.

Thanks,
