Lover of quiet computers Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Say I write an essay in StarOffice 7. Is there an easy way to save it as a valid XHTML document? (I believe the HTML docs produced by StarOffice are not XHTML-compliant.) Quote
SonicDragon Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 This is avoiding the problem but...Have you tried a different text editor Try these links for more help:W3C ValidatorGeneral Info from the W3C Quote
akorvemaker Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 I believe that Abiword produces valid XHTML. It can read StarOffice documents fairly well, though it is better at reading RTF files, so if you save it as either RTF or XHTML Abiword may have more success.Running it through Tidy (Peachy's suggestion) may be easier. It's quite a good little program.andy Quote
