JackR
It seems that by lumping Network and security in the same Forum the Network part was “Killedâ€.May be there is no demand for Network related forum on this BBS.However if you feel that there is a Place for Network Forum I would suggest to separate it from the Security issues.. nlinecomputers
The problem is there is always some overlap. If your trying to network a couple of XP boxes do you post in Security and Networking, Windows and Microsoft, or in Answers to tough questions? Things like routers can be hardware or Security and Networking. But you may have a point. Sounds like an agenda topic for the next secret moderator meeting. Well if you trying to Network few computers and or have bad luck with Wireless, then it is a Network issue. When your Network is functioning and you have concerns about Security, you can log to the Secret Security Forum (SSF). The Following might sound like a quote from "Dvorak" never the less."Networks existed before there was Internet, and they will exist after the Internet will collapse. . Ed_P
Sounds like an agenda topic for the next secret moderator meeting. Or a poll. Isn't that how most forum changes have come about? 10-12 people favor something it happens.
SonicDragon
The security and networking forum isn't very busy as it is. I'm not sure that there's enough going on in there to separate it into two different forums. my 2C
