crp Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 As can be seen by Eric's post (#15), a quote of a quote is not working correctly. yes, yes, Eric - I realize this is not 'On Topic' Quote
Guest LilBambi Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Quotes within quotes don't work unless you use MultiQuote. Quote
V.T. Eric Layton Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 That's a lady bard... as in Shakespeare; in reference to your possibly inadvertent lampooning of "To be or not to be; that is the question" in the title to this thread. Quote
Guest LilBambi Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 (edited) Ah, Cool! BTW: It was intentional actually. Edited May 10, 2012 by LilBambi Quote
V.T. Eric Layton Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 I don't have a need to multiquote too often, but I guess I need to go test this and see how it actually works. Quote

That's a lady bard... as in Shakespeare; in reference to your possibly inadvertent lampooning of "To be or not to be; that is the question" in the title to this thread. Ah, Cool! BTW: It was intentional actually. Interesting. Literally need to quote from the individual posts. It won't nest them. Very much like it did with the old software. Quote
V.T. Eric Layton Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Glad I don't need to do that too often. Quote
Corrine Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Quotes within quotes don't work unless you use MultiQuote. MultiQuote is much cleaner than quotes within quotes. I don't have a need to multiquote too often, but I guess I need to go test this and see how it actually works. I like MultiQuote because it is then possible to respond to two different posts in one reply without confusing one with the other. Quote

securitybreach Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 I have never really tried the multi-quote before as I have only done them manually but that I may try it out MultiQuote is much cleaner than quotes within quotes. I like MultiQuote because it is then possible to respond to two different posts in one reply without confusing one with the other. I just realized that if I type a response and then scroll up and click quote, it automatically posts the quoted text instead of opening up a reply box like the old forum did. Neat stuff Quote
Corrine Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 ??? It looks like you clicked both MultiQuote and Quote so the post was included twice. Quote
