sunrat Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I'm underwhelmed. iOS and Android are at the home straight and MS is just out of the starting gate. With MS history in mobile devices, I'm not going to lay down a bet on them at any odds. Quote
amenditman Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 I'm underwhelmed. iOS and Android are at the home straight and MS is just out of the starting gate. With MS history in mobile devices, I'm not going to lay down a bet on them at any odds.Uncle Billy worked extensively to make mobile devices work out, tablets and phones. Always pretty much a failure for Microsoft by any standard. Now we have little cousin Stevie making the big push to break into the market. My confidence level about Microsoft making anything more than a small splash is zero. Bill has 3 times the business sense that Steve has. If Bill couldn't make it work out, no one can within the framework of their organization. This is a job for a lean, mean, small, new, innovative group. Maybe someone is working on it in their parent's garage and we'll hear about it in a few years when they take over the world like Gates and Jobs have. Quote
