onederer Posted July 3, 2011 Share Posted July 3, 2011 No matter what I did, I couldn't get my HP 8500 All-In-One wireless printer setup and running. I had to follow these steps to gain success.So, go to "configure computer"> Manage System Services>Printer>turn "CUPS" 'on'> then activate a console, and type: hp-setup (make sure that HP-LIP and CUPS is installed in Synaptic)>enter your HP information in the GUI application.
