Running PCLOS? Go an HP printer not setting up?

Recommended Posts

No matter what I did, I couldn't get my HP 8500 All-In-One wireless printer setup and running. I had to follow these steps to gain success. So, go to "configure computer"> Manage System Services>Printer>turn "CUPS" 'on'> then activate a console, and type: hp-setup (make sure that HP-LIP and CUPS is installed in Synaptic)>enter your HP information in the GUI application. Then make sure that the user is listed in the Group's "lp" section. That should make your printer comply to all your wishes.
