Guest LilBambi
uce@ftc.gov wants our spam mailYes That's the address to which you can report spam to the FTC. They are encouraging people to foward their spam to that address Yep, they sure do!You can read FTC Chairman Tim Muris on "Ask the White House" in June 2003 on this here:http://www.whitehouse.gov/ask/20030627.htmlThis request was also highlighted on TechTV several times as listed on the TechTV articles page below, along with several means of complaining about spam:http://cgi.techtv.com/search?query_text=uc...nytime&x=8&y=

ibe98765
I've been getting a HUGE amount of spam in the last few days from a user running through http://www.broadwing.com out of Austin, TX. Over 1000 spam emails and growing by the hour. He generally puts a nonsense name of 5-10 characters in front of the @ sign, changes 1 letter at a time and keeps sending the same emails over and over and over. All of them are sex related. I usually don't report spam but in this case and because I was able to trace it to the ISP, I have made two reports but it hasn't stopped yet. Here's a sample: Return-Path: <v570130722z@uniquesender.com>Received: from mailsptr2.uniquesender.com (66.63.162.176) by mail26a.sbc-webhosting.com (RS ver 1.0.88vs) with SMTP id xxxxxxxxxx for <crusadernc@mydomain.com>; Sun, 18 Jan 2004 17:31:11 -0500 (EST)To: crusadernc@mydomain.comDate: Sun, 18 Jan 2004 14:31:04 -0800Message-ID: <1074465064.6230@mails-2.uniquesender.com>X-Mailer: Mailman v2.0.4From: MAN PLEASURE <v570130722z@uniquesender.com>Subject: Male XToyz 570130722uReplyto: returns@uniquesender.comContent-type: text/htmlX-Loop-Detect:1Status:

i fayaftpnb jdnsgbkko 570130722 smwmwgyhq afwbkwbmc
Flesh Light -- Your Personal Male Satisfaction Tool
Here's the traceroute:1,64.171.187.254,10ms,adsl-64-171-187-254.dsl.snfc21.pacbell.net,----2,216.102.187.130,40ms,dist1-vlan60.snfc21.pbi.net,----3,209.232.130.82,15ms,bb1-g8-3-0.snfc21.pbi.net,----4,151.164.190.190,101ms,bb2-p4-0.snfcca.sbcglobal.net,----5,151.164.191.50,10ms,bb1-p11-0.sntc01.pbi.net,----6,64.161.1.30,15ms,bb2-p14-0.sntc01.pbi.net,----7,64.161.1.22,16ms,ex1-p11-0.eqsjca.sbcglobal.net,----8,206.223.116.72,109ms,sp0-1-SNJSCA13.broadwing.com,----9,216.140.3.41,16ms,None,----10,67.96.47.74,29ms,None,----11,66.63.162.176,29ms,mailsptr2.uniquesender.com,----http://www.broadwing.com is registered to:Registrant:Broadwing Communications, LLC (BROADWING4-DOM)1825-A Kramer LaneAustin, TX 78758USDomain Name: BROADWING.COMAdministrative Contact, Technical Contact:Herrera, Chris (23940845I) chris.herrera@BROADWING.COMBroadwing, Inc.1825-A Kramer LaneAustin, TX 78758US(512) 742-2408 fax: (512) 834-8045Record expires on 07-Dec-2005.Record created on 10-Aug-1996.Database last updated on 18-Jan-2004 17:48:32 EST.Domain servers in listed order:B3EXTDNS.BROADWING.COM 216.140.57.70B3EXTDNS2.BROADWING.COM 216.140.57.
