MS releases IE9 Release Candidate today 2-11-2011http://windows.microsoft.com/ie9I've been using the beta for months now.The RC installed on top of the beta with no issues.Note: IE9 won't install on XP.MS also announced Win 7 SP1 "release to manufacturers" with a public release on Feb 22.I upgraded to IE9 RC on Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit with SP1 installed.I installed SP1 last month when it was leaked to the web through a link provided by Win 7 Forums.Although I prefer Firefox for my day to day browsing I keep IE around for those sites that don't play well with FF.Actually Firefox 4 is at beta 11 at this time and will go RC soon with a final soon after.

zlim, sorry my question was not clear.I am asking if I download from the default US MS Site will I get a US version of IE9.Alternatively if I change the MS Site header to United Kingdom will I get a United Kingdom version of IE9.There are often British English versions of software available - I can only find English IE9.For example from here: beautiful web

Hi, anykey. The link you provided is for British English, not US English. Thus, if there is any difference, I believe that you will get the British English version. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/internet-explorer/products/ie/homehttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie/home
The link anykey provided is for the UK download site but selecting the appropriate version will D\L IE9-windows 7-x86-enu.exe for the 32 bit version or IE9-windows 7-x64-enu.exe for the 64 bit version. If you notice in the file name the abbreviation enu, enu stands for US English. So you are getting the US English version.Other countries with English as the official language use the same file.Below is a screenshot of the UK siteth_Capture-11.pngThe black arrow points to the alternate language link.Clicking the link shows only one version of English.Any country on this list that uses English as a prime language gets the same file.Of course since the D\L is just a stub it could point to anything.I doubt it.The only way to find out would be to run the file and see if "Favorites" is "Favourites" or "color" is "colour" etc. There was only one English version of IE8, US English so it's not unreasonable to presume the same with IE9.
