Stryder Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 While I have read about them, I have never had the need to use them. Quote
Peachy Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 Hey, what happened to the Basilisk item? I've got that running on both XP and in Linux. I voted for Virtual PC because I've used that. Great program. I have installed virtual Windows 2000 Server, Windows 98 and Windows XP and had all three running on the same Windows XP host computer. They made themselves into a virtual LAN. I did this so I could test out Active Directory before I actually installed it on a real PC network.Basilisk is quite easy to install. If you don't have a Macintosh ROM, there are a number of web sites that you can find it on. Quote
Guest ThunderRiver Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Well, for some reasons, I have not figured out how to add "additional options" so the current solution is to replace the one that I assume people don't really use. Basilisk II is too old though. It only supports up to Mac OS 8, and that's just not that great anymore in my opinion. Honestly, I know it is not hard to set it up, but it is quite easy to break it.
