The latest Firefox version (Firefox 4) has been released in beta1.http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/John Haller has released a Portable version athttp://portableapps.com/news/2010-07-06_-_...able_4.0_beta_1I have the portable version installed on my U:\ partition for testing.I like what I see so far.Addon compatibility is sketchy but that is to be expected.I'm sure that will improve with time.I've tested the 4.0 version against Firefox 3.6.6 and the latest Chrome v5.0.375.99using Sunspider Java benchmark.http://www2.webkit.org/perf/sunspider-0.9/sunspider.htmlChrome is still faster, ~1.8 times faster but Firefox 4 is ~1.3 times quicker than Firefox 3.6.6 a significant increase.
