At present Mozilla 1.3 says its my default browser. I'd like to change that to MSN explorer being my default browser. What do I do?

My MSN Explorer asked me if I want to set it as default, so I did. Do you have an option that say that as well?

In Explorer go to the Tools drop down men and down to the Internet Options and then to the programs tab. At the bottom is a button that says "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser." Next time you start Explorer it will ask and take over the claim to default browser.I assume that MSN Explorer is the same as Internet Explorer. Am I wrong?

I went Add +Remove Programs. At the left I changed it to Microsoft. It's better now, but Mozilla 1.3 still is aggressive.

MSN Explorer and Internet Explorer are two different animals. I can't think of any good reason to use MSN Explorer, even if MSN is your ISP. Come to think of it, I can't think of a good reason to have MSN as your ISP. My opinion of MessN aside, have you uninstalled Mozilla? Have you tried teacher's suggestion?

I was going to say that, but didn't want to sound like an MSN basher without some backup :)MSN Explorer is so much a waste that it hurts. If you're going to use a Microsoft browser, use IE... Just curious, what was wrong with Mozilla that you don't want to use that?

Every time I clicked on something, Mozilla 1.3 butted in. (2) Yes, I followed Teacher's instructions.

On one you click on the butterfly. On the other you click on the "E".

It worked. It's back to normal. Thanks Teacher and Thunder River.

The new MSN Explorer 8/8.5 requires credit card input, which is not a great thing though. The user interface in MSN Explorer is amazing. All the icons are in PNG formats, and it looks crystal clear for most people. Thunder
