gskeller
One of my users flash drive (I don't know the manufacturer) appears to be corrupt. She filled it up during a copy proceedure and now it tells her "Cannot delete folder Application Data: the file or directory is corrupt or unreadable". I'm trying to do some research and I'm at a different location than the drive. I don't know the basics for dealing with flash drive problems and I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks in advance, Greg. zlim
flash drives work like floppies. Find out if it's a Lexar USB2, because I've read reports of them failing after a certain time period. I have 3 Lexar jumpdrives (USB 1.1) and mine work well.
gskeller
So I could maybe just reformat it using Windows 2000? Greg
Guest ThunderRiver
You could, but if it is memory chip malfunction, there is nothing much you could do.I am using my Lexar USB 1.1 128 Mb drive, and it still works like charm. Use it on both Mac and PC actually.
