Peachy Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 This is good news for people with older hardware that would love to run Windows 7 and enjoy the benefits of XP Mode. In other words you don't need a CPU with hardware virtualization (Intel VT or AMD Pacifica). Get the update here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977206This update will retroactively remove the hardware virtualization restriction after you install the special Virtual PC for Windows 7. Quote
