LLfan Posted October 2, 2003 Author Posted October 2, 2003 Come to find out there isn't even a usr/src/linux/ directory, I do have a usr/src/RPM directory.I am trying to figure out what the numbers of my kernel are. Quote
tranquilo Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 You can use uname from a konsole to reveal your kernel version.uname -atranquilo Quote
Bruno Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 Mike/usr/src is by default empty ( except for the /rpm directory ) . . you will have to install ( new ) kernel sources there yourself, but only if you want to compile a ( new ) kernel. Bruno Quote
