zlim
It can't hurt to run it and take a look. It lists what you might want to remove. You are free to not select anything for removal.I got a 2nd hand Dell and ran it so I could be sure the things I didn't want on weren't still installed. goretsky
Hello,Before you make any changes to your new notebook computer, may I suggest that you make recovery media, and then verify that the recovery media works by reloading the operating environment from it? This way, you do not have to worry about removing a file which is needed to create a recovery disc set or having a non-working recovery disk set when you need it the most.Regards,Aryeh Goretsky

Tried the app, it's a bit outdated but it seemed to do a reasonable job.

zlim
Thanks in advance temmu. I haven't downloaded it yet and used it because I'm usually in linux and want to try this in windows. Now all I have to remember to do is reboot to windows and download it.
