My laptop will not go to sleep

I already adjusted the power management controls but no luck there. It works some times but than there will be many times when I close the lid and the HD lights keep blinking, the fan is blowing but it does not go into sleep mode. Does anyone know what is going on? One clue: It says there is another user logged on! I hope not...this is a terrible felling. Thanks

Yes I do. I have removed but no luck there. I somehow feel that is associated with the guess account because the problem started after I created it. There is no way to delete it as I see. I think there must be some file or history that is telling vista there is still an account...?

Just a wild guess without being able to check it out myself ... I'd recommend blowing away your hibernation file and recreating it.-- Scot
